This section helps users understand how to create an account, log in, reset their password, manage profile details, and fix common login issues in Elephant Trax.
How do I create an account?
To create an Elephant Trax account, open the Elephant Trax app and select the Sign Up option.
You can create your account using an email address or an available social login option, such as Apple or Google.
If you sign up with email, enter your email address carefully and follow the on-screen instructions to complete your account setup. Make sure there are no extra spaces before or after your email address.
If you sign up with Apple, Google, or another social login option, please remember to use the same login method every time. Different login methods may create different accounts.
For example, if you create your account with Google and later try to log in with email/password, Elephant Trax may treat it as a separate account. To access the same boxes, QR codes, items, and inventory data, always use the same login method you used when creating your account.
How do I log in?
Open the Elephant Trax app and select the Log In option.
Use the same login method you used when creating your account.
If you created your account with email, enter the same email address and password. Make sure the email address is typed correctly and does not include extra spaces.
If you created your account using Apple, Google, or another social login option, select the same social login method again.
Using a different login method may open a different account. If you cannot see your boxes, items, or QR codes after logging in, check that you are using the correct login method.
I forgot my password. What should I do?
If you forgot your password, use the Forgot Password option on the login screen.
Enter the email address connected to your Elephant Trax account and follow the instructions sent to your email. You may need to check your inbox, spam, or junk folder for the password reset email.
After resetting your password, return to the Elephant Trax app and log in with your new password.
If you created your account using Apple, Google, or another social login option, you may need to manage your password through that provider instead.
How do I reset my password?
To reset your password, open the Elephant Trax app and go to the login screen.
Tap Forgot Password, enter your registered email address, and follow the instructions sent to your email.
Please make sure you enter the same email address used for your Elephant Trax account. Also check that there are no extra spaces before or after the email address.
Once you receive the reset email, follow the steps to create a new password. After that, you can log in again using your updated password.
Why am I not receiving the verification email?
If you are not receiving the verification email, first check your spam, junk, promotions, or other email folders.
Also make sure your email address was entered correctly. A small spelling mistake or extra space can prevent the email from reaching you.
Please try these steps:
- Check your spam or junk folder
- Confirm your email address is typed correctly
- Remove any extra spaces before or after the email address
- Wait a few minutes and check again
- Tap resend verification email if the option is available
- Make sure your inbox is not full
If you still do not receive the email, contact Elephant Trax support and share the email address you used to create your account.
Why does it say “Please enter a valid email address”?
This message usually appears when the email address is not entered in the correct format.
Please check your email address carefully and make sure:
- There are no spaces before or after the email
- There are no spaces inside the email address
- The email includes @
- The email includes a valid domain, such as .com, .net, or another correct ending
- There are no spelling mistakes
Example of a correct email format:
name@example.com
If you copied and pasted the email address, try typing it manually again. Sometimes copied text can include hidden spaces.
How do I update my profile information?
To update your profile information, open Elephant Trax and go to your Profile or Account Settings section.
From there, choose the edit option and update the available details, such as your name or other profile information.
After making changes, tap Save to update your profile.
Some account details, such as email address or social login information, may not be editable directly from the app. If you need help updating account-related information, contact Elephant Trax support.
Can I use the same account on multiple devices?
Yes. You can use the same Elephant Trax account on multiple devices.
Install the Elephant Trax app on your new device and log in using the same login method you used when creating your account. For example, if you created your account with Google, log in with Google again. If you created it with email and password, use the same email and password.
Your boxes, QR codes, items, photos, and inventory details should sync with your account when your device is connected to the internet.
If you do not see your inventory on another device, check that:
- You are using the same login method
- You are using the same email or social account
- Your internet connection is working
- The app is updated to the latest version
How do I log out?
To log out of Elephant Trax, open the app and go to the Profile, Account, or Settings section.
Tap the Log Out option and confirm if prompted.
After logging out, you will need to log in again using the same account method to access your boxes, QR codes, items, and inventory data.
How do I delete my account?
To delete your Elephant Trax account, go to the Settings section in the app and look for the Delete Account option.
Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm your request.
Before deleting your account, please review your data carefully. Deleting your account may remove your saved boxes, item photos, QR code connections, notes, addresses, categories, custom fields, and other inventory details.
If you cannot find the delete account option, contact Elephant Trax support and share the email address associated with your account.
How do I change my email address?
If email change is available in your app version, you can update it from the Profile, Account, or Settings section.
Open your account details, choose the edit option, update your email address, and save the changes. You may need to verify the new email address before it becomes active.
If you created your account using Apple, Google, or another social login option, your email may be managed by that provider and may not be editable directly inside Elephant Trax.
If you cannot change your email from the app, contact Elephant Trax support and share your current account email address along with the new email address you want to use.
