This section helps users understand which Elephant Trax features are free, which features may require a subscription, and how billing works on mobile and web.

No, you do not need a subscription to use the core features of Elephant Trax.

You can use Elephant Trax to create boxes, scan QR codes, add items, and manage your inventory. These core features help you organize your boxes, bins, trunks, and storage containers.

Some advanced features may require a subscription, such as account sharing, custom fields, advanced organization tools, or business/pro features.

Yes. Elephant Trax includes free features that allow you to start organizing your storage and inventory.

You can create boxes, add item details, assign QR codes, scan QR codes, and search your saved inventory. Some premium features may require a subscription depending on your app version and plan.

Free features may include basic inventory organization tools, such as:

  • Creating boxes
  • Adding items
  • Uploading item photos
  • Adding item names, notes, and keywords
  • Assigning QR codes
  • Scanning QR codes
  • Searching for items
  • Managing basic box information

These free features are designed to help you organize and find your stored items without opening every box physically.

Some advanced features may require a subscription. These may include:

  • Account sharing
  • Custom fields
  • Advanced organization tools
  • Pro/business features
  • Additional inventory management options
  • Advanced web or export features

Subscription features may change over time as Elephant Trax adds new improvements.

You may see a subscription popup when you try to access a premium feature.

The popup explains the available subscription plan or free trial option. If you only want to use the free features, you can close the popup and continue using the basic tools available in Elephant Trax.

On Android, if you do not see a close button, you may be able to press the back button to close the popup.

No. You do not need a subscription for basic QR code scanning.

You can scan a QR code from the Home page to view the box and item details connected to that QR code. Some advanced features related to QR code management or organization may require a subscription depending on your plan.

No. You can create boxes using the basic Elephant Trax features.

You can add item details, create a box label, assign a QR code, or save the box without a QR code. Some advanced options, such as custom fields, account sharing, or business tools, may require a subscription.

If a free trial is available, you can start it from the subscription screen in the Elephant Trax app or web platform.

On mobile, the free trial is managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Follow the on-screen instructions to start the trial.

On web, subscription access may be managed through Stripe using RevenueCat. Follow the checkout instructions shown on the web subscription page.

Please review the trial details carefully before starting. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you may be charged automatically.

How you cancel depends on where you purchased the subscription.

If you subscribed from iPhone or iPad

Your subscription is managed by Apple.

Go to:

iPhone Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > ElephantTrax > Cancel Subscription

If you subscribed from Android

Your subscription is managed by Google Play.

Go to:

Google Play Store > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions > ElephantTrax > Cancel Subscription

If you subscribed from the web

Web subscriptions are managed through Stripe using RevenueCat.

If you subscribed from the web and need help canceling or managing your subscription, please contact:

If you purchased a subscription from the mobile app, open Elephant Trax and go to the subscription screen. Tap Restore Purchase.

Make sure you are using the same Apple ID or Google account that was used to purchase the subscription.

If you subscribed from the web and your subscription is not showing correctly, please contact:

support@elephant-trax.com

Include your Elephant Trax account email and any payment or subscription details you have available.

Billing for iPhone and iPad subscriptions is managed by Apple.

To manage your subscription:

  1. Open your iPhone Settings
  2. Tap your Apple ID/name
  3. Tap Subscriptions
  4. Select ElephantTrax
  5. View, update, or cancel your subscription

Elephant Trax cannot directly cancel or refund App Store subscriptions from inside the app because billing is handled by Apple.

Billing for Android subscriptions is managed by Google Play.

To manage your subscription:

  1. Open the Google Play Store
  2. Tap your profile icon
  3. Go to Payments & subscriptions
  4. Tap Subscriptions
  5. Select ElephantTrax
  6. View, update, or cancel your subscription

Elephant Trax cannot directly cancel or refund Google Play subscriptions from inside the app because billing is handled by Google.

If you subscribed from the Elephant Trax web platform, your subscription is handled through Stripe using RevenueCat.

For any web subscription questions, billing issues, cancellation requests, or payment problems, please contact:

When contacting support, include the email address connected to your Elephant Trax account and any payment details or receipt information available.

First, check where you subscribed.

If you subscribed from the mobile app, go to the subscription screen and tap Restore Purchase. Make sure you are logged in with the correct Elephant Trax account and using the same Apple ID or Google account used for purchase.

If you subscribed from the web, please contact:

support@elephant-trax.com

When contacting support, include:

  • Your Elephant Trax account email
  • Where you subscribed: iPhone, Android, or web
  • A screenshot of your receipt, if available
  • A short description of the issue

This helps support verify your subscription and activate the correct access.

Refunds depend on where the subscription was purchased.

If you subscribed through iPhone or iPad, refunds are handled by Apple. You will need to request the refund through Apple’s refund process.

If you subscribed through Android, refunds are handled by Google Play. You will need to request the refund through Google Play support.

If you subscribed through the web, billing is handled through Stripe using RevenueCat. For refund questions related to web subscriptions, contact:

support@elephant-trax.com

Please include your account email and payment details when contacting support.

If you start a free trial and do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription may automatically renew as a paid plan.

This is managed by the platform where you started the trial:

  • Apple App Store for iPhone or iPad
  • Google Play Store for Android
  • Stripe/RevenueCat for web subscriptions

To avoid future charges, cancel the subscription from the same platform where you started the trial.

If your subscription expires, your saved inventory data should remain connected to your Elephant Trax account.

You may lose access to premium features until you renew your subscription, but your existing boxes, item details, QR code connections, addresses, categories, and saved inventory should remain available according to your account access and app plan.

You can continue using the available free features. To use premium features again, you may need to renew your subscription.
