Web App & Data Export
This section explains how to use the ElephantTrax web app and export your inventory data.
Does ElephantTrax have a web app?
Yes. Elephant Trax has a web app that allows you to access your inventory from a computer or browser.
The web app is useful when you want to view, search, manage, or export your inventory on a larger screen. You can use it to review your boxes, items, photos, locations, categories, and other saved details.
You can access the web app here:
How do I log in to the web app?
Open the Elephant Trax web app in your browser and log in using the same account you use in the mobile app.
Please make sure you use the same login method you used when creating your account. For example, if you created your account with email and password, log in with the same email and password. If you used Apple or Google login, use the same social login option if available.
Using a different login method may open a different account, and your saved inventory may not appear.
Can I use the same account on mobile and web?
Yes. You can use the same Elephant Trax account on both the mobile app and the web app.
When you log in with the same account, your saved inventory can sync between mobile and web. This allows you to view your boxes and items from your phone or from a browser.
For best results, make sure your mobile app has synced your latest changes before checking the web app.
How do I export inventory data?
You can export your inventory data from the Elephant Trax web app.
Log in to the web app and go to the Browse page. From there, look for the export option. You can use this option to download your inventory data, such as a CSV file.
Exporting your inventory is helpful for backup, insurance records, moving records, professional organizing, business inventory, or reviewing your stored items outside the app.
How do I download a CSV file?
To download a CSV file, log in to the ElephantTrax web app and go to the Browse page.
Find the export or CSV download option and click it. The web app will generate a CSV file containing your inventory information. You can then download the file to your computer.
After downloading, you can open the CSV file in tools such as Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or Apple Numbers.
What information is included in the export?
The exported file may include inventory details such as:
- Box label
- Item name
- Notes
- Keywords
- Quantity
- Estimated value
- Purchase price
- Purchase date
- Brand
- Model
- Serial number
- Warranty expiry date
- Location
- Category
- Custom field information
- QR code or box-related details
- Other saved inventory information
The exact information included may depend on the details you have added in the app and the current export options available in your account.
Can I manage boxes from the web app?
Yes, you can use the Elephant Trax web app to view and manage your inventory on a browser.
Depending on the current web app features, you may be able to search boxes, view item details, check locations and categories, manage inventory information, and export your data.
The web app is especially useful when you want to review many boxes or items on a larger screen.
Why is my mobile data not showing on the web app?
If your mobile data is not showing on the web app, first make sure you are logged in with the same Elephant Trax account and the same login method.
For example, if you created your account using email and password, use the same email login on the web app. If you use a different login method, such as Apple or Google, it may open a different account.
Also check the following:
- Make sure your mobile app is connected to the internet.
- Make sure your latest changes have synced.
- Refresh the web app page.
- Log out and log in again.
- Check that you are not viewing a different shared account.
- Make sure you are using the correct email address.
If your inventory still does not appear, contact Elephant Trax support and share your account email address, device type, and details of the missing data.
